Our Story
Baking has always felt like home to me. As a child, I spent countless hours in my grandmother’s kitchen in West Sumatra, where I learned the magic of creating things from scratch. Grandma was a culinary professor and businesswoman, and her passion for baking inspired me from the start.
During the pandemic, I rediscovered that love for baking, turning weekends into marathons of pies, cookies, brownies, and cakes. Friends couldn’t get enough, some even traveling just to try my baked goods. That’s when I knew it was time to share this joy with others.
And so, Buns & Crumbs was born. This little home bakery is my way of honoring my grandmother’s legacy while sharing the comfort and joy of homemade treats with you. Every pie, every cookie, every cake is made with the same love and care that I felt in her kitchen.
